French Tech Central : startups and public bodies, closer and more connected than ever
Our approach
Challenging the website tree structure to enhance the online experience
We sat at a table with French Tech Bordeaux team in order to assess French Tech Bordeaux website’s existing tree structure.
After discussing the online users paths, the main navigation menu seemed to be the right place to include the new French Tech Central platform, which can be identified as a new navigation menu item.
Designing French Tech Central platform
Based on the workshop we conducted with French Tech, we produced the French Tech Central platform wireframes.
We imagined how the online experience of booking a meeting with a public sector organization could look like. Every step of the user journey has been taken into account for the wireframes design : the choice of the proper public sector actor, the choice of an available time slot in a shared agenda, the access to the meetings’ document list…
The public body page wireframe and the public event page wireframe are the outcomes of a co-design workshop we conducted with French Tech Central Bordeaux team members and and URSSAF (Organizations for the Collection of Social Security and Family Benefit Contributions) representative.
The online path to register and attend an event was also a specific focus of the wireframes design process. Every detail has been thought out and designed to enable French Tech community members to actively participate in French Tech community life.
A global vision of the service
During a dedicated design thinking workshop, the French Tech Bordeaux team and us co-design the French Tech Central roadmap.
The roadmap we designed presents the global view on the actions that need to be implemented in order to ensure the proper, smooth operation of French Tech Central Bordeaux program. Both start-upper’s and service provider’s side are visually represented on the document, aiming to help the onboarding of new French Tech Central project members.
From digital to physical world
During that same workshop, we drew up the functional plan of the French Tech Central Bordeaux space.
We focused on identifying user journeys according to the different types of users’ needs, such as attending an individual meeting, a workshop or an event.
A plan identifies the physical user-flows and a signage project helps guiding users through French Tech Central Bordeaux common spaces.
